Mario and Lucinda are currently performing at The Savannah Theatre, located at 222 Bull Street on picturesque Chippewa Square in the center of Savannah’s famous Historic District. First opened in 1818, Savannah Theatre is arguably the oldest operating theatre in the country. The original structure was designed by renowned architect William Jay. Over the past two centuries the theatre has undergone several face-lifts as a result of damage from fires. After a 1948 fire, the theatre was converted into a motion-picture house, remodeled in its current Art Deco style. It remained as such until it was sold to the Little Theatre of Savannah in the 1970’s. Restored in 2002 with state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems, the theatre hosts a 5-member orchestra and a 7-member cast and seats an audience of 535. Enjoy a display (free of charge) of the theatre's history in the lobby, which is open 10 AM-4PM Monday and Tuesday, 10AM-8PM Wednesday through Saturday, and Noon-5PM Sunday. www.SavannahTheatre.com 912-233-7764

A Christmas Tradition is a two-hour revue of favorite holiday songs, both sacred and secular. You'll hear familiar tunes likeWhite Christmas, Sleigh Ride, I''ll Be Home for Christmas, O Holy Night, Jingle Bell Rock, What Child Is This, Christmas in Dixie and Silver Bells. Merry elves and rowdy reindeer frolic in a snowy North Pole setting, led by that famous man in red, Santa Claus! Enjoy a colorful and cheery production with lavish costumes, brilliant lighting, and 15 holly jolly performers who are sure to make your holiday a happy one!
